D.J. Frogie began his plight as a deejay at a very young age. At the tender age of 10 he would blend songs together using 2 double cassette players and a microphone. His DJing on a more modern level started in 1990. After seeing all of the amazing tricks his friend and mentor, D.J. Paragon, was doing with 2 turntables and a mixer, he was hooked. Paragon pieced together 2 turntables from old parts he had lying around the house and gave them to Frogie. From there the madness began. Frogie entered Tennessee State University in 1992 and after paying his dues by doing a few free parties, he appeared on the scene as one of the top dee jays in Nashville. He has turned out parties for many of the local clubs and all of the greek letter organizations in the area.
In August 1999 DJ Frogie relocated from Nashville, Tennessee to "Hotlanta", Georgia where he now resides. Frogie has rocked parties as well as mix tapes with southern DJ heavyweights Southanbred and Scream, and in November of 2004 his 'The Chronicles of Twista' mix was picked as a favorite by Mixtape Mondays on 'MTV.com'. Frogies mixes have earned him 3 Southern Entertainment Award(SEA) victories and he has been showcased in Ozone(Orlando/Atlanta), Neo(Atl) and 411(Japan)magazines. Frogie has had the honor of keeping the party crunk at some of Atlanta's finest night clubs including Vision, Atrium, Scores,Jucks, Lions Lounge and countless others. Frogie has released over 100 mixed CDs in the past 4 years and sells them to retail stores from Miami to Texas to California and online.
